07/07: 1st semen analysis (SA) done. Family doctor suggested we go straight to a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE).
08/07: 1st RE appointment. 2nd SA ordered. Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) may be an option.
09/07: 2nd RE appt. 2nd SA results are in. IVF recommended.
11/07: 1st IUI with Clomid.
01/08: Started acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
02/08: 2nd IUI with Menopur/Follistim (injectibles).
04/08: 3rd IUI with injecibles. Found out sperm count was up from 4 million to 20 million.
06/08: RE does dilation to open cervix.
07/08: 4th IUI with injectibles. Lots of follicles.
08/08: 5th and final IUI before IVF in December started.
9/14/08: Pregnant 12dpiui
9/15/08: Pregnancy confirmed by doctor. Beta 13 dpiui = 442, Progesterone = 102
9/18/08: Progesterone rechecked now at 124. PIO shots stopped.
5/2009: Welcomed our beautiful twin girls into the world.
5/2010: Actively began trying, charting, temping.
2/2011: Started acupuncture again, OB prescribed Metformin, RE said not what he’d do. So I didn’t start.
